This stately granite building houses the Karnataka Legislature and Government Secretariat and is located at the northern boundary of the Cubbon Park. With its gleaming white domes, pillars and archways, the Vidhana Soudha is designed on the architectural pattern of Mysore's old palaces. India's national symbol, three lions, perches majestically atop the biggest dome. The entrance to the cabinet room is ornately carved and is made of pure sandalwood.
